What’s the difference between Plugins, Bundles and Cloud?+
Plugins: a one-time purchase for your self-hosted Redmine, from $99, with 1 year of support included; support renewal after that is 30% of the plugin price. Bundles: curated sets of plugins at a published discount, same one-time model. Cloud: we host everything – every plugin and theme included from day one, AI bundled – for a fixed monthly package from $69.
Is Cloud priced per user?+
No. Cloud is a fixed package by team size: $69/month for up to 25 users, $129 for up to 50 and $249 for up to 100. Adding people inside your package costs nothing extra.
What does self-hosted support cost after the first year?+
Every paid plugin includes 1 year of support. After that, renewing support costs 30% of the plugin price per year.
Which plugins are free?+
Tags, Mentions and Inline Editor are free forever – on self-hosted Redmine and on Cloud.
What happens if we outgrow our plan?+
On Cloud, move up to the next package – Team to Business to Scale. Past 100 users, talk to us about a larger fixed package – still one price for the whole team, never per user. Self-hosted teams usually move to Cloud once they want the AI features, the full suite without renewal fees, or run more than 50 projects.
Self-hosted: what if we have more than 100 users?+
A self-hosted licence covers one Redmine installation with up to 100 users, one-time. Beyond that, each additional user is licensed per year. The yearly rate per user is a share of the licence value you bought (the sum of your plugin prices), and it gets cheaper in bands as you grow – so the first 100 users are one-time, and only the users above 100 pay a small yearly amount.

Per-user rates by band: 101–250 users: 32% of the per-user licence value per year · 251–500 users: 25% of the per-user licence value per year · 501–1,000 users: 19% of the per-user licence value per year · 1,001–2,500 users: 13% of the per-user licence value per year · 2,501+ users: custom quote. Rates are floored at $1.49 and capped at $24.90 per user per year. Mixed stacks work the same way on the sum of the plugin prices – ask us for your exact figure.
